Education for Eternity

Keene Adventist Elementary School and Chisholm Trail Academy are dedicated to providing its students with an educational program that leads to a full commitment of their spiritual, intellectual, physical and social resources to the service of God and their fellow man.

“The teachers and staff go above and beyond to help the children learn about the world around them, how to make a genuine difference and how to develop a true relationship with Christ. Not all children learn the same way and they are dedicated to finding ways to help all of the children learn and grow. As a Christian private school, it’s more than just learning about math, science, reading and writing… they are dedicated to show what it truly means to be Christ-like to those around you.” – Parent

Early Childhood: Ages 3 - 5

In Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten, students begin using play learning as a way to teach the young children some of the basics of school, while keeping it fun and engaging for them. They go through different activities that help begin to establish their understanding of school topics, like numbers, letters, music, and social skills. They also get an opportunity to learn from middle grade students once a week, with the guidance of their teacher.

Elementary School: Grades Kindergarten - 4th

In elementary school, students begin developing their fundamental subjects, stories from the Bible, and how they can be a leader even at a young age. We are dedicated to showing them how you are never too young to make a real difference to the world around you. Students experience learning through classroom discussions, helping people in the community and finding ways to make a difference here on campus.

Middle School: Grades 5th - 8th

In middle school, students begin to experience the transition from having a single teacher for a majority of classes to having different teachers for each of their subjects. This is also the time for them to learn more about what it is like to transition to between classroom, keeping track of homework and how to be an example to the younger students.

High School: Grades 9th - 12th

The high school is operated to provide a secondary school education which is specifically Christian in nature. Its purpose is to restore each student to the image of his Maker. This purpose guides the planning of each class, each program, and each activity. Teachers and students recognize, as do the parents, guardians and constituency, the ministry of the Holy Spirit in attaining this great objective.

All of the teachers are engaged with all of the students throughout all grade levels which helps foster a great school family feeling. We also have wonderful engaged parents to support the faculty. Classes are small which enables great teacher to student relations and individualized support for learning. You can see how much the teachers genuinely care by how actively they are involved in all school activities. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful!  The CoVid Pandemic really showed the dedication of the staff. They adapted to and embraced a new way of learning with passion and commitment to student success which they did successfully through great parent communication and flexibility.” – Parent
